33-ISTORIES-1821 1

COLLECTIVE WORK

Editing - Prologue: Elpidoforos Intzebelis

The Revolution of 1821 was a pivotal milestone in the History of Hellenism, as on the one hand it led to the establishment of the independent Greek state, on the other hand it inspired the next generations of Greeks to continue the liberation struggles and kept the Nation united in discrete times.

The 33 short stories are images, moments of the struggle as seen by 33 modern writers two hundred years after the revolution of 1821. This volume was published in the hope that the writers would illuminate with their own eyes the invisible side of the Revolution.
